Job Description
As Global Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT, you will define and execute the global sourcing strategy for the IT category across JDE Peet's. Acting as the strategic commercial partner to Global IT, Digital, Finance and Legal leadership, you will drive value creation through strategic supplier partnerships, commercial excellence, innovation and risk management. You will manage a global spend of approximately EUR 100 million while leading complex sourcing initiatives, executive negotiations and supplier governance while building a sustainable productivity pipeline and supporting JDE Peet's digital transformation agenda. This is a highly strategic Level E role with significant global stakeholder influence and responsibility for shaping long-term technology sourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the global IT category strategy aligned with the company's digital transformation roadmap
- Partner with Global IT, Digital, Security and Finance Leadership to shape sourcing and investment decisions.
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives across software, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecom, digital platforms and IT services.
- Build and execute multi-year productivity, working capital and Total Cost of Ownership improvement plans.
- Lead executive commercial negotiations with strategic technology suppliers including enterprise software vendors, cloud providers, system integrators and outsourcing partners.
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships, governance and Executive Business Reviews that foster innovation and continuous improvement.
- Continuously monitor technology market developments, AI-driven transformation, supplier dynamics and commercial models to proactively shape sourcing strategies.
- Own category risk management including cybersecurity, business continuity, regulatory compliance
- Promote procurement excellence, sustainability and continuous improvement globally

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; Masters or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, with significant exposure to global IT categories.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software, cloud, SaaS, technology services and major technology supplier ecosystems.
- Proven ability to develop category strategies and negotiate complex global commercial agreements.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior executives in a complex global matrix organization.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with analytical capability and the ability to translate technology market trends into sourcing strategies.
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives

The Global Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT is accountable for defining and executing the global procurement strategy across the IT category, ensuring technology investments create maximum business value while delivering sustainable productivity, innovation and resilience. Operating in a highly strategic environment, the role partners with Global IT Leadership, Digital Transformation, Finance, Legal and senior business stakeholders and manages approximately EUR 70–100 million annual spend.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary between €7400 and €8700 gross per month based on 40 hours
- A contract of 40 hours per week for the duration of the assigment
- A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary that you can flexibly deploy
- A good travel allowance; 100% public transport reimbursement or € 0.23 per km
- 25 vacation days; 5 days can be included in the IKB budget
