In this pivotal engineering role within PACCAR Global Powertrain, you directly define vehicle behavior and performance for industry-leading brands such as DAF, Kenworth, and Peterbilt. You collaborate within a multidisciplinary, global team to transform division requirements into advanced control concepts, taking ownership from initial concept through vehicle-level validation.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and optimize advanced control algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow for electrified powertrain systems.
- Develop software functions for high-voltage battery management systems (BMS), charging interfaces, ePTO, and e-Drive components.
- Verify and validate functional requirements and control designs using MiL, SiL, and HiL testing platforms and Rapid Control Prototyping.
- Coordinate the technical delivery roadmap and lead verification test plans to secure on-schedule milestone delivery.
- Align decisions across cross-functional project core teams and execute structured software handovers to the embedded development department.

- You hold a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Control Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
- You have proven hands-on experience in control function development for electrified automotive powertrains.
- You have extensive practical experience with Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and associated control toolboxes.
- You have experience testing and validating control algorithms using MiL, SiL, and HiL setups at component or system level.
