Due to the long-term absence of a permanent team member, our client seeks an Interim Business Controller for a period of at least 3 months. With Financial Control and Financial Accounting strictly separated, your focus lies entirely on Business Control, high-level analysis, and strategic projects. As a trusted advisor within the Management Team, you challenge financial and non-financial stakeholders to translate operational performance into actionable insights.
What you will do:
- Coordinate and execute budgeting, forecasting, and periodic performance evaluations.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, advising management on business cases and strategy execution.
- Deliver consolidated management reports and translate complex data into strategic steering information.
- Identify bottlenecks in controlling processes and implement continuous improvements.
- Drive key change and optimization projects across the organization.

Functie-eisen
- You hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial control within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- You have professional experience working with SAP and TM1 as consolidation and reporting tools.
- You possess fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary between €5,800.- and €6,800.- gross per month based on 40 hours (or an attractive hourly rate for interim/freelance professionals)
- A contract for at least 3 months for 32 – 40 hours per week
- 25 vacation days based on full-time employment
- 8% vacation allowance
- A solid travel allowance; 100% public transport reimbursement or €0.21 per km
- A sabbatical arrangement; up to 12 months every three years
