Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to drive financial precision at a high-tech global leader? As a GL Accountant at ASML, you safeguard the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial administration within the Sourcing & Procurement domain.
In this high-impact position, you manage day-to-day general ledger operations while actively identifying process improvements. You perform structural analyses, advise management on technical accounting matters, and collaborate directly with cross-functional partners across FP&A, Treasury, and Business Control to resolve operational bottlenecks.
Your core responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger entries, journal postings, accruals, and provisions with high accuracy.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures under NL GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Perform complex balance sheet, intercompany, and bank reconciliations.
- Conduct detailed P&L and variance analyses to support key financial reporting cycles.
- Drive process automation and standardization within SAP to enhance operational efficiency.

You're successful if:
- You hold a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Economics.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a General Ledger Accountant.
- You possess proven, hands-on experience working with SAP systems.
- You have demonstrable experience executing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
