In this role, you join the Air Management Diagnostics team inside PACCAR's Global Engine Integration department. You focus on On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) for advanced diesel engines, ensuring maximum reliability and strict emission compliance across European and North American truck markets.
- Calibrate Air Management diagnostics for critical components including turbochargers, charge air coolers, and EGR systems.
- Develop Best Performing Unacceptable (BPU) and Worst Performing Acceptable (WPA) parts to test diagnostic accuracy.
- Design robust testing strategies, collect empirical data, and evaluate software performance on physical engines.
- Prepare and update technical certification documentation for regulatory authorities.
- Investigate complex field issues to deliver long-term, structurally sound engineering solutions.
Functie-eisen
- You hold a Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- You have proven knowledge of heat and flow dynamics, preferably applied to internal combustion engines.
- You possess a solid understanding of engine control systems.
- You demonstrate professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
