Are you an analytical logistics expert with a passion for process optimization and strict quality assurance within a pharmaceutical environment? As a Logistics Process Owner at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden, you will take ownership of raw material supply flows and distribution processes.
In this role, you will analyze and streamline logistics workflows across the Janssen Biologics warehouse and distribution center. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify bottlenecks, implement process enhancements, and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards (GMP).
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Conduct thorough evaluations of existing logistics processes and workflows to eliminate inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Quality & Technical Writing: Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation in strict compliance with GMP guidelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with the distribution center, warehouse management, local operations, QA (Quality Assurance), and Global Planning teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.
- Technology & Systems: Evaluate and utilize logistics software and tools (such as SAP, WMS, and Salesforce-based applications) to optimize daily operations.
- Performance Tracking (KPIs): Define, monitor, and report key logistics metrics to continually assess performance and drive data-driven improvements.
Functie-eisen
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in process improvement, supply chain optimization, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or logistics industry.
GMP Knowledge: Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in a highly regulated GMP environment.
Analytical Mindset: Excellent data analysis, process mapping, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Writing: Meticulous attention to detail in writing and updating SOPs and compliance documentation.
Language Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English. Good understanding of the Dutch language is a preferred plus.

- A monthly project allowance 4% of your salary
