Ideally, you have team management experience or a strong drive to develop into a leadership role. Additionally, you bring the following:

• You have a background (academic degree) in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration;
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience;
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and international stakeholders;
• You have experience with ERP systems (suchs as Microsoft Dynamics 365) and possess strong Excel skills;
• You are professionally proficient in English.

You will lead a finance team of 7 finance professionals and be responsible for the following tasks:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including payments and invoicing, while actively guiding and empowering your finance team to grow;
• Take charge of the monthly closing process, ensuring absolute accuracy in financial data and seamless intercompany reconciliations;
• Coordinate timely quarterly reporting and manage VAT declarations in close partnership with external tax advisors;
• Coordinate corporate income tax fillings, transfer pricing documentations, and Chamber of Commerce registrations to guarantee full compliance;
• Act as the central point of contact for external auditors, coordinating the annual financial statements and swiftly resolving any audit findings;
• Take ownership of gathering, validating and submitting essential financial reporting packages and energy consumption data to the global headquarters;
• Establish and maintain robus internal controls over all banking activitities, payment processes and account access management;
• Actively improve financial workflows, guarantee regulatory compliance and build collaborative relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners.

Originally founded in Japan, Mimaki now operates offices worldwide. The European headquaters, established in 2004, is based in Diemen. With the support of a central warehouse in Rotterdam, Mimaki supplies its products throughout Europe, while sales and support services are handled by a dedictated network of local distributors and clients in each country.
