To succeed as a Forklift Driver at Ahrend, you meet the following requirements:
- Availability: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (06:00 – 14:50).
- Language Skills: Good command of English or Dutch (speaking and understanding).
- Experience: Experience driving a forklift or Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) is preferred.
- Certificate: Possess a valid forklift license, or a willingness to obtain one for free through us.
- Commute: Reliable personal transport to arrive in Sint-Oedenrode by 06:00 AM.
As a Forklift Operator in the shipping department (expeditie), you play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Your main responsibilities include:
- Loading & Unloading: Safely unload incoming goods and load outgoing furniture into trucks without damage.
- Export Preparation: Carefully pack export orders to prevent damage during transit.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming items daily for completeness and check for potential damage.
- Internal Transport: Move goods safely to their designated storage locations.
- Administration: Register and process warehouse actions accurately in the system.
