To work as a catering assistant, it is important that you meet the following requirements:
- You speak Dutch or English
- You have experience in catering or hospitality
- You do not have visible face tattoos
- You are willing to work 4 to 6 hours per workday
- You are willing to work between 07:30 and 16:00
- You are willing to work in and around the area of Maastricht
- You have your own car to reach various locations
As a catering assistant, you ensure a delicious lunch for guests every day. Your day starts between 07:30 and 09:00 at one of the locations in Maastricht. You begin by preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, and hot soups. In between, you fry snacks and restock drinks. During the lunch peak, you welcome guests warmly and operate the cash register.
Around 13:00, you finish lunch service. You clear up, do the dishes, and clean everything according to HACCP guidelines. Around 14:00, you take your break. Because you may work at government or police locations, it is important that you can apply for a VOG (Certificate of Conduct).
