Production Worker - Chemicals

As a Chemical Operator, you will help out on the factory floor. You will make sure our products are safely produced, packed, and prepared for shipment. Together with your team, you ensure everything gets delivered safely and on time.

You work neatly, pay close attention to safety, and show up on time. You enjoy working together with colleagues to make a great product.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience working in a factory is nice to have, but if you are eager to learn, you are welcome to apply!
• Good basic math skills, precise with details, and able to follow simple written instructions.
• Physically fit and comfortable with standing, walking, and lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg).
• Forklift experience or a forklift certificate is a plus!
• Physically able to stand for long periods, lift bags/containers up to 50 lbs (23 kg) safely, and move drums using mechanical equipment.

No two days are the same. You will be active in the plant doing a variety of tasks:

• Preparing equipment: Connect hoses and pumps, and inspect containers and drums to make sure they are clean.
• Filling and packing: Fill containers with product, put labels on them, wrap pallets, and prepare them for shipping.
• Loading and unloading: Move materials around using a forklift and help load and unload trucks.
• Basic administration: Keep track of what you made on paper and enter basic work details into the computer system.
• Keeping it safe and clean: Keep your workspace neat and tidy, and always look out for safety.

You will be working in a manufacturing plant where safety is always priority number one. The team is friendly, supportive, and works well together. You will get clear instructions and proper protective equipment so you can do your job safely.

• Work Environment: A manufacturing plant environment involving exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and chemical substances.
