Technician at NS

With your helpful, collegial, and service-oriented attitude, you are a true asset to the workshop. You are naturally curious, solution-oriented, and tackle technical challenges with great enthusiasm. You are proactive and eager to learn.

• A completed MBO level 2 qualification (preferably in a technical direction);
• Demonstrable technical work experience;
• In possession of a VCA certificate (basic safety) or willing to obtain it;
• In possession of your own transportation.

Depending on your preference and technical expertise, you will work in a specific role. Every day, you make sure that trains can continue to run safely. Every workday is different. We match your talents with the right open position:

• Cooling Technician: Maintain and repair climate control and cooling systems on trains (F-gas category 1 certificate required);
• Mechanical Technician: Perform mechanical maintenance on bogies, wheels, and couplings;
• Pneumatics Technician: Work on compressed air systems such as brakes and door mechanisms;
• Electrical Technician: Troubleshoot electrical faults and replace defective components;
• Maintenance & Repair (TD) Technician: Maintain and repair machinery and installations within the workshop itself.
