Assembly Technician

As an Assembly Technician, you are responsible for accurately preparing, building, and assembling various components and complete systems on crop protection machinery or separate units. You will work meticulously using technical drawings. Then this opportunity at John Deere in Horst is definitely the right fit for you!

You are a proactive, precise craftsman who loves hands-on work. You have strong communication skills and feel right at home in a technical production environment. Furthermore, you have:

• a completed technical MBO (vocational) degree;
• more than 2 years of experience in a technical production environment;
• the ability to read technical drawings and proven knowledge of mechanics;
• fluency in Dutch, English, or German;
• immediate or short-term availability for a period of at least 6 months.

At the end of the process, you carry out thorough quality checks on the machines you have assembled. Furthermore, you will:

• prepare and assemble various components and installations based on orders and technical drawings;
• mount electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic parts and components onto the machines;
• thoroughly inspect the assembled machine or unit;
• strictly comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
