As a Truck Driver for our distribution center in Zaandam, you are the heartbeat of the supply chain. You’ll ensure that Albert Heijn stores across Northwest Netherlands stay fully stocked, handling everything from loading roll containers to managing return goods—all while enjoying the freedom of the road.

You are a service-minded professional who enjoys the social side of the job. Whether it’s a quick chat with a store manager or coordinating with colleagues in Zaandam, you represent the brand with a smile.

• license: you hold a C and/or CE driving license with a valid Code 95
• credentials: you possess a valid digital tachograph card
• language: you are fluent in either Dutch or English
• mindset: you are proactive, physically fit to handle loading/unloading, and customer-oriented

Your day starts early (between 01:00 and 04:00) at the Zaandam distribution center. After a coffee with your colleagues, you’ll head out to deliver groceries to various stores.

• deliveries: ensuring timely and safe arrival of goods
• interaction: acting as the face of the company during store deliveries
• logistics: managing returnable packaging and empties back to the DC
• flexibility: while your main schedule is Monday–Friday, Saturday shifts or part-time options (1+ days) are always negotiable.

You’ll be based at the Simon Loos/Albert Heijn DC in Zaandam. It’s a workplace where personal attention matters. The planning team is easily accessible—whether you’re at the DC or on the road—ensuring you always feel supported and heard.
