Manufacturing Engineer at Philips Healthcare
Do you want to play a key role in the introduction of new products? As the Manufacturing Engineer, you are the representative of Operations in multi-disciplinary teams ensuring best in class transition from development to manufacturing.
Your responsibilities include:
- Creates and maintains manufacturing documents (e.g. work instructions), provides training
- Defines and implements improvements within the building block to increase yield, output or costs (e.g. implementation of
upstream testing, tooling)
- Analyzes field performance data (e.g. DEFOA), installation test-results, and customer related complaints,
in order to initiate improvements, based on quality performance analysis provided by Quality Engineering.
- Prepares and introduces changes (products, components, production-processes) for released products.
- Participates in supply chain teams, design teams, purchasing teams and secures the agreed manufacturing requirements
You are someone with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and you do have knowledge of ESD requirements and Soldering processes (IPC). For this job you must have experience in participating and leading multi-disciplinary projects.
As a person you are result driven and you do have quality driven approach with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex assembly and / or test industry for medical devices. You have excellent English and Dutch language skills and are eager to learn
Preferably you have a Green Belt (expertise within DfX, DFMA, DMAIC, Lean) and knowledge of statistical tools.

You will be part of the Operations MR organization of Philips Healthcare. The Operations MR organization is responsible for the production, testing and delivery of MRI systems, upgrades, options and spare parts. Operations MR is in transition from a situation where activities were concentrated on 1 location (Best) to a global organization with multiple sites.
