Tod's is a premier luxury Italian brand in shoes and they are seeking a dynamic, customer service driven department Manager for their Tod's Design District boutique at the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. As a Store Manager you have the Department Manager and five sales advisors working under your direction. In this leadership role you participate in generating sales and you work as a supervisor. You think about different strategies to handle customer problems and complaints and you oversee the billing and payment processes.
As a Store Manager you are responsible for the functions of all departments of the store and for brand building exercises relating to the store. You ensure that the store achieves and surpasses its sales and financial forecasts. This position is of great responsibility as you are also entrusted with all the financial activities and budget allocation processes of the store. The key focuses are to motivate the team members, delight the customers and to work to embed operational routines and standards and to achieve high standards of customer service. Upholding the image and building the reputation of the store is the key responsibility of this position as a Store Manager.
As a store manager you are a supervisor who complies with Tod’s policies and procedures. You supervise the stocking of goods, all Customer Service activities and the functioning of the staff. You think about the strategies for sales and marketing activities to drive revenue into the store. As a leader you make sure that the store looks attractive by participating during the arrangement of merchandise in the store with the Visual Department. You have a big responsibility for monitoring training and implementing training procedure, manage training follow ups and feedbacks to develop your team. You can also make a suggestion for new trainings if needed.
