As a production employee at Fokker you work on the construction of the aircraft. It is therefore important that you can work very accurately and have a great sense of responsibility. The materials you work with are very small, which requires fine motor skills. Specific work experience is not required, but an affinity with the technical sector is important. Read below what else is important for this vacancy.
- Available 40 hours per week, in daytime on 2 shifts;
- Not color blind;
- Your own transport or living in the region;
- Willing to take tests to test your technical skills;
- Good command of the English language, spoken and written.
As a production employee, you will make wiring harnesses for the F35 using instructions on an iPad. The wiring harnesses consist of various cables with branches on which connectors must be placed.
But before you start working on the Fokker site in Papendrecht, you follow a 2-week training in Alblasserdam. This is of course fully paid for.

Fokker was founded by aviation pioneer Anthony Fokker in 1919 and has been part of GKN Aerospace since 2015. They are the experts in the field of aviation structures, electrical wiring systems and landing gear. Fokker Elmo is working on military projects, such as the Joint Strike Fighter (F35). There are locations in various cities all over the world, as a production employee you will work at the location in Papendrecht.
- Salary of € 16.20 per hour. If you work shifts, you will receive a 15.3% shift allowance. After 6 months of work you will receive a salary increase;
- Day shift (07:00-15:30, 07:30-16:00, 08:00-16:30) or 2 shifts (06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00);
- Training period in Alblasserdam. Work location is Anthony Fokkerweg 4, 3351 LB Papendrecht.
