We are looking for a new Administrative Employee Transport for CEVA Logistics (Nieuwegein) for 24 hours per week. You will start on a temporary contract untill the end of the year.

In this role you are responsible for performing various administrative tasks and arranging transport. The vacancy is open Dutch and English speaking candidates.

€12,82 - €15,00 gross hourly

As an Administrative Employee Transport you are very accurate, flexible and independent. With your communication skills you can move different people and you ensure clear cooperation with your colleagues. You are accurate, ambitious, result-oriented and have an open personality.

To be able to perform this function properly, you bring the following knowledge and experience with you:

  • A relevant completed education at MBO level;
  • 0 to 5 years of work experience in administrative work;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language in word and writing;
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS Word;
  • Stress resistant and knows how to maintain overview in a dynamic environment;
  • Available for 24 hours per week. Working days can be determined in consultation with the Office Supervisor and the team members, but looking at the current occupancy, the Friday is a “must”.

You will become part of our Transport Team, where you will work on behalf of our international client who is located worldwide. As a result, you will deal with all national and international shipments. Together with your
colleagues, you work on the best possible service and you create a workplace where every employee feels good and has the opportunity to
develop. In this team you feel right at home as a starter, but also as an experienced professional.
As an Administrative Employee Transport, you report to the Office Supervisor and you perform your work in day shift (up to a maximum of about half past six) within a team of 4 and you work closely with the
invoicing/export department and the warehouse staff.
In this role you are responsible for performing various administrative tasks and arranging transport:

  • You take care of processing shipments in the customer’s warehousemanagement system;
  • You keep close contact with the assigned carriers and arrange that shipments are picked up in a timely manner;
  • You will therefore be involved in, among other things, booking transport for the shipments and also a bit of troubleshooting in which you work closely with your colleagues from the invoicing/export department and from the warehouse;
  • You will have the opportunity to think along with your colleagues about improvement processes with regard to the transportmanagement.
