Assembly worker

You can fix things like no other. And you also like to do your part to contribute to the environment. Are we talking about you? Then read on quickly!

Besides the fact that you find it incredibly interesting to start working on state of the art electric buses, you are of course also a handyman (or woman)
We ask of you:

• Experience as an assembly worker or (technical) production worker; If you have no experience but are a handyman, please also contact us.-
• Speak and read Dutch or English
• full-time availability in dayshift
• Willing to work overtime for up to 30 minutes per day

Together with your team you will build modern electric buses for VDL. So you will be working directly on a ''green'' future. Most tasks are well described in the work instructions. But your experienced colleagues will be happy to help you if you need extra help. You perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly work on a bus. You do this at your workplace which is completely ergonomically designed so that you can do your job safely.

• Assembling parts on the bus. For example: the stop button, the interior, lighting)
• Reading technical drawings;
• Sealing of edges

Working at VDL means working for a company with two feet on the (working) ground. VDL is proud of their products and people. They have the combination of development and production under one roof. This makes it possible for you to immediately see the result of what you and your colleagues have come up with.

But VDL is also a fun company. For example, every year they have a big staff party where you can party together with your colleagues and partner. It is also a sporting company. Every year VDL organizes both a soccer and an indoor soccer tournament. And don't forget to mark it down in your calendar. Every last Friday of the month there is a cold drink for you in the VDL company bar.
