Are you looking for a dynamic and varied job in the logistics sector? GLS is looking for enthusiastic employees who are willing to work two shifts from 16:00 to 00:00 and 04:00 to 8:30. - You can lift packages up to 20 kg;
- You are available 24-36 hours per week;
- You work neatly and accurately;
- You enjoy being physically active;
- A drivers license is handy but not required!
As a logistic employee at GLS, you are responsible for sorting packages. Trucks delivering packages arrive daily to the main facility in Utrecht. You and your colleagues are responsible for loading and unloading these trucks. Afterwards, the packages must be sorted on postal code. A conveyor belt and scanner are used to send the packages to the correct department. Once this is done, the packages will ride with the drivers to their destination. Packages of up to 20 kilograms can be processed.
- Sorting packages by zip code;
- Working with a hand scanner;
- Preparing packages for delivery.
At GLS Zwolle you work in a motivated team that is responsible for the entire process of processing packages. The warehouses distribute packages for the north-east Netherlands region. You, as a member of this team, make sure together with your team that the packages are delivered on time to the customers.
