Quality insurance officer

The Quality Coordinator Automotive supports the Operations Department and the Sales Department by coordinating and following up all quality claims and issues reported to both departments. He or she acts as the first line of support in the Quality Department.
By technical analysis in collaboration with the customer and supplier he or she coordinates the process of issue analysis, solution finding and communicating with all parties in order to close the claim quickly ensuring
the satisfaction of all involved parties.

• Familiar with logistics and supply chain processes, customs regulations, VAT rules and all required shipping documents inherited in the automotive industry as standard business manners;
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Great interpersonal skills and customer service;
• Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little supervision.
• Responsible, goal oriented and organized;

• Collect and organize all quality related documentation (which the customer needs) like PPAP, specifications, drawings, IMDS, PSW and more. Make sure that the documents can be provided timely upon request by a business partner.
• Accept quality claims (item related and delivery related) by acknowledgement and registration according to the standard procedures common in the automotive industry.
• Keep all parties involved and informed about all steps and development during the quality claim handling.
• Organize and maintain proper trace back methods and procedures in order to be able to provide all relevant information about the history and origin of the product, the supplier, production facility and all relevant technical information that can help

The Quality Coordinator Automotive reports to the Project Coordinator and to the General Manager.
Internal collaboration with: All departments from the NL and DE office and more specific within the Operations and Sales department.
External collaboration with suppliers, customers, warehouses.
