As a Supervisor Maintenance at Van der Kleij in Utrecht, you will have a diverse range of tasks. Your day begins with a round on the department, contributing to the smooth operation of the machinery by effectively managing your team. Building and maintaining a strong team while providing enough coaching and guidance are crucial aspects of your role. Here are your tasks:

• Coordinating, planning, and aligning the activities in the Maintenance department.
• Monitoring and controlling the quality of work delivered by the employees.
• Establishing and implementing a maintenance overview system.
• Ordering parts from suppliers and managing a healthy inventory in our warehouse.
• Ensuring a safe working environment with proper attention.
• Participating in and providing input for team leader meetings.
• Establishing good cooperation with external parties (e.g., machine suppliers).

Van der Kleij is a family company that has been providing linen for hotels and restaurants for over 160 years. As a Supervisor Maintenance, you will work alongside approximately 200 colleagues, processing 500,000 kilograms of hospitality linen per week. The relatively new machinery park includes washing machines, sorting robots, hydraulic presses, gas dryers, industrial ironing machines, various folding machines/robots, and a rail system. You will be part of the Maintenance technician team, consisting of six motivated mechanics and two laundry facility employees. In this flat organizational structure, you will be directly supervised by a dynamic management team. Here's why Van der Kleij should become your new employer:
