Safety is of paramount importance to you. HAK's pots are made of glass. It is therefore important that you can drive accurately. As a forklift driver, it is a bonus if you have some experience with scanning and computers. Read below which requirements you must meet to be eligible.
- You master the Dutch and/or English language in word and writing.
- You are possession of a valid forklift certificate, if not and if you have experience, it is possible to obtain it with us.
- Accurate driving is not a problem for you.
- Some experience with scanning/computers
As a forklift driver at HAK in Giessen you will work in shifts. This is from Monday to Friday, so you are free on the weekends. The morning shift is from [06:00-14:00], the afternoon shift [14:00-22:00] and the night shift is from [22:00-06:00]. Within this position you have a lot of variety in your work. Read below what your tasks entail.
- Ensure timely supply and removal of the necessary resources and materials for the departments.
- Driving a pallet to the right location in the warehouse.
- Pick pallets with pots in the warehouse and drive them to the machine.
- Compile and prepare orders based on order forms.
- Registration of pallet movement in the context of tracking and tracing.
- Checking the incoming and outgoing pallets for deviations.
- Assisting and relieving colleagues.
There is an open culture at HAK. The doors are open and you are free to enter anywhere, both on work floor and in the office. As a forklift driver, you will ensure that HAK's bags and pots are safely brought from A to B. There is also possibility to come and work for HAK on contract if you function well!
