Test Technician

The Test Technician is in charge of collecting materials, constructing, and functionally testing and/or calibrating prototypes, functional and visual samples. You will be performing standard tests on parts and complete products for Design Engineering when developing or modifying products. Interested? Read on and apply today!

As a Test Technician you have experience with sample build processes in a high-technology environment. Besides that you have strong affinity with the electrical and mechanical field of working.

• you have good social skills to interact with various internal stakeholders;
• you have strong planning and organization skills and you are capable of setting priorities;
• Microsoft Office skills.

As a Test Technician you will be engaged in assembling prototypes and samples from supplied and/or self-organized or created parts or subassemblies based on drawings and/or rough sketches taking into account the (inspection) requirements. The assembly of prototypes is done both on production equipment and on in-house hand machines. Also, you perform prescribed tests and calibrations of parts, (sub)assemblies and products, some of which are performed with computer-controlled measuring equipment. In addition, you are engaged in:

• recording and reporting on measurement results;
• customizing tools and fixtures for own use.
