To work as an order picker, no experience is required! You will however have to pass a test. Furthermore, you enjoy working in logistics and are eager to develop yourself. You are also willing to obtain certificates and are eager to learn. Finally, you can read below what you need to start.
- You're able to do physical work.
- You are not afraid of heights and willing to obtain a forklift certificate.
- You can work full-time in a two shift system: 07:30-16:15/08:00-17:00, and 1600-01:00 (From Sunday to Friday).
As an order picker, you will work in a two- or three-shift system from Monday to Sunday. You'll spend 25% of your day operating a man-up truck, also known as an Order Picker Truck (OPT). You will also work at heights, placing book pallets high on the racks. You will collect the books and ensure that orders are prepared for shipment. Additionally, you will perform administrative tasks.
