Curious about how coffee pads are made? Then now is your chance! In the Jacobs Douwe Egberts factory you will keep the machines running. In Utrecht we are looking for an Operator who wants to work full-time at Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE). You will work in three shifts. You can start immediately!

The shifts alternate, so you will work as following:
One week in the morning 06:00- 14:00. The following week in afternoon 14:00- 22:00. The week after that in the night 22:00- 06:00. This repeats itself.

So you only work one of the three weeks in the night!

The vacancy is open until at least the end of September 2023. But extension is certainly negotiable, this is in agreement with the team leader!

As Operator you are responsible for the daily production progress of several Senseo lines. In a well run and fun team you take your responsibility! You ensure that the planned production numbers are met according to quality and planning. It is important to execute this process accurately.
Are you technically proficient? Then you will only benefit, because you are constantly working with machines. With setting, filling and so on!

• You achieve planned production numbers and deliver proper quality planning;
• You manage the lines keeping to the set requirements of (food) safety, cleanliness and environment;
• You will be responsible for proper handover of machines to the oncoming shift;
• You make substantive proposals to improve procedures, regulations, process improvement. In this way you prevent mechanical problems

In the Netherlands, Koffiebranderij Utrecht (KBU) is responsible for producing the largest coffee products in the country. Every year we make more than 4 billion coffee pads and over 100 million packs of filter coffee. This achievement is made by around 250 employees. Something we are proud of and continuously improve.
