The most important thing in this role is your language skills. This is an international company with customers all over the world. Therefore we are looking for candidates who speaks German. Besides your language skills, it is important that you are looking for a job where you can develop yourself, where you want to invest in and have the ambition to learn a lot. You learn new systems quickly, are customer oriented and commercial, are naturally curious to know more and you find it no problem to have much telephone contact with customers. In addition, you have already built up experience in a similar position.
As a Inside Sales Representative, you receive orders which you then process in the system. You can work well under time pressure, allowing the order to start its journey to the customer on the same day. In addition, customers call you regarding shipments, returns, orders, complaints and questions. You participate in meetings and will sometimes prepare reports. You have a proactive attitude and see every question as an interesting puzzle to solve.
The company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high temperature cutting tools (Plasma & Laser) and Water-jet cutting tools. One might wonder, is this a technology based organization and does everyone have the knowledge of these tools? NO! The product is high-tech but most employees do not know how it works exactly, they will leave those technical aspects to the experts. What's important for you to know is that all the information needed is always just a phone call away, other departments will assist you in any questions that you do not directly know the answer to. It is a dynamic team (ages between 25 and 35 years old) and a lot of different nationalities. A really International environment, in total there are 12 languages representative and the main language is English. This company is also we very innovative and commits to product excellence, associate engagement, community service and reducing impact on the environment.
