Do you like walking for several miles? And do you want to work within a high-tech environment? Then we are looking for you at ASML in Veldhoven! As a logistic employee in the tool center you will walk through the warehouse. You will get a free workout! How great is that?
- Secondary vocational education diploma, preferred logistics
- Experience working in logistics
- Knowledge of SAP is useful, not necessary
- Technical affinity
- Good knowledge of the English language
As a logistic employee you will work at the tool center. This is the place where the tools are checked, repaired and lend out. You facilitate the production by bringing the tools to the right place. Approximately, you will walk about 10 Kilometers per day. You need to have some affinity with technique, because you need to assemble parts on the machine sometimes.
- Transporting materials to the clean room
- Quality control
- Packing and cleaning of the materials
- Processing all information in the administrative systems
- Identify any bottlenecks and see how to improve the process
ASML is a small village next to Eindhoven. Officially this is not correct, but you would almost say it is! ASML produces chip machine for clients such as Samsung and Intel. The machines produce chips for example for smartphones, tablets and other computers. At the moment they are world leading in the industry and growing fast. That's why you could say the complex of ASML is almost a small village.
