At Fed-Ex in Utrecht you work in the early hours. As a warehouse worker, you have a lot of responsibility. You can deal with this well and work accurately. You will be working as a with delicate substances and packages that come straight from the airport. You are also eager to learn and like to keep developing yourself.

Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

• You speak Dutch or English;
• You can request a VBG (note, you need to live in the Netherlands for at least the past 8 years to apply);
• You are available at least 3 days a week, at least on Wednesday and Friday.

Before you start working as a warehouse worker, you will follow some training courses. When you pass, it is really time to get started. The packages come directly from Schiphol to the warehouse in Utrecht. You learn to deal with delicate goods and to process air freight packages. You and your colleagues will unload these trucks and place the packages on the conveyor belt. After a month of work you will receive your forklift certificate to do this. When all packages are on the conveyor belt, the sorting work begins. You will scan all packages with a hand scanner and sort them by region.

Fed-Ex is a major international mail order company offering logistics and courier services. They work by ground, sea and air, including heavy freight. As a warehouse worker you can contribute to this. You get the opportunity to continue to develop. This way you can follow training courses and obtain certificates. After 8 weeks of work we automatically include you in our pension scheme. The warehouse is easily accessible by your own car and public transport.

• Travel allowance up to €15.20 per day.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday between 5:00 and 9:30 am;
