Warehouse worker

We are looking for a logistics employee for an international logistics company in Zevenaar. It's a job for the long term and you will end up in a great team! As a logistics employee you work in 2 shifts and with permanent colleagues, so you quickly get to know your team.

In the role of logistics employee in Zevenaar you work in a dynamic environment that never stops. You are willing to make efforts and you want to learn new things. You:

• speak English or German.
• have some experience in logistics

Every day, more than five thousand pallets with products from well-known brands are in circulation in various warehouses. As a logistics employee in Zevenaar, you become part of a hardworking, fun team. Together you ensure that the products reach the right destination in Europe on time.

We have 2 shift teams. One week you work according to the hours of shift 1. The other week of shift 2:

Shift 1: from 04:00 to 13:00
Shift 2: from 13:00 to 21:30

• you unload goods from trailers and interchangeable containers with an electric pallet truck and place them on the unloading floor;
• you scan the barcodes on the pallets with a hand scanner and give the pallets a location number;
• with the electric pallet truck (EPT) you ensure that the pallet is in the right place;
• finally, the goods on these pallets are moved to trailers and;
• during this process you never lose sight of the quality of the packaging. If something goes wrong, you know how to fix it.

The organization is still a family business and you notice this in everything. You have more than 100 colleagues in your area. You will be included in everything to give you a flying start. This way you get to know the company and your colleagues well. For example, have you never been on an EPT? No problem. There are plenty of opportunities for training or courses through Randstad or at the company itself!
