Philips Healthcare production departments have two distinct production facilities; 2 shift departments, where you are part of the team managing lines of machines which in an autonomous setting construct radiation-absorbing plates used during x-ray scanning. Note that there is no radiation exposure in the department itself.
Another department we have in 5 shift, is our DMLS( direct metal laser sintering ) established in additive manufacturing, which in short means that we print highly complex x-ray system assembly parts using tungsten(metal) powder.
