We have a position available as a stand builder (night shift). We would like to meet you to see if this position is right for you.

You are someone with a real go-getter mentality! You see the work and you can work independently. You also like to work at night! You also work well in a team, after all, you and the entire facility team ensure successful events!

• You are flexible in terms of working days and time;
• You speak the English or Dutch language (an advantage, but certainly not necessary);
•  You are stress-resistant and you work in a structured way;
• You are willing to alternate night shifts and day shifts in response to the fair agenda; you will also work weekends;
• You are result and solution-oriented; You are hospitable and collegial;
• And of course, you are also a nice and pleasant colleague!

After a set-up or break-down day of an event, you will work with a team to complete the remaining jobs. That could mean building up the remaining stands, placing floor tiles or installing the last power supplies in the stands, a very challenging and varied job. After an event has ended, you are responsible for cleaning up the exhibition floor and you may already be working on the next event. You ensure that the new day of the event can start again flawlessly. After your shift, you have a transfer to the day shift coordinator and you discuss the progress of your last shift.

During the low season, you are available between Monday and Friday. During the exhibition season, you will be scheduled from Monday to Sunday five days a week. Your working hours are therefore related to the opening hours of the fair. The most common working hours are:
From 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
From 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Or from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Are there no trade fairs? Then we make sure that you can still make your hours. You will then be scheduled for the day shift from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• You ensure a safe and tidy working environment;
• As a cooperating foreman, you are the point of contact for a team of flex employees during the night hours;
• You have a controlling role over the work that needs to be carried out;
• During the day shifts you are part of the basis Facility team and you participate in the most beautiful events.

You will work as a night shift foreman at the event hall in Gorinchem; one of the largest exhibition organizers in the Netherlands. This company is characterized by the informal culture and the space for personal input. The team facility consists of about 15 people.
