Operator trainee

Will you become part of the close-knit team and enjoy working full-time for a long period of time in 3 and/or 5 shifts? You even have a chance of a permanent position at Arla. You describe yourself as critical, eager to learn and have technical insight. You can demonstrate this through recent experience in a similar position. No experience, but you do have an mbo diploma? Or a demonstrable affinity with technology? Then feel free to respond, we would love to talk to you about this position as trainee operator. You are also available to work in 3 and/or 5 shifts.

• you have recent experience in production or as an operator;
• or: you have no experience, but have an intermediate vocational education level and affinity with technology;
• you have a high sense of responsibility;
• you are physically strong;
• you are available full-time and for a long period of time to work three shifts.

Technology and machines are what drive you! Together with your colleague from the previous shift, you discuss details. You check the planning and make sure the products are ready. Everything checked? Turn it up!
In between, you are busy taking samples. Is the custard thick enough? Is the yoghurt sour enough? And is the balls of custard tasty? This involves various quality checks that you share with the laboratory.
You clean the machine when a new product is scheduled. You solve any malfunction with ease. And in addition, you report to the team leader if there are any peculiarities.
Of course, we don't expect the most from you right away. Because you are in training, a colleague will always come to your aid if necessary. You close the day with a good feeling at the end. This allows your colleague to get on with it on the next shift.

• setting up and operating machines;
• cleaning and disinfecting the machines;
• troubleshooting;ensuring safety, hygiene, order and tidiness in the workplace.

Arla supplies all major supermarkets in the Netherlands. They are big in organic and 100% natural products. Besides these brands, the brands Lurpak® (butter), Castello® (cheese), Apetina®, Starbucks®, Cocio® and Skyr® are also sold from Nijkerk.

After an initial telephone introduction, you will go for an interview with my colleague. They will be present at Arla in Nijkerk. Together, you will see whether the position of trainee operator suits you. A second interview will then follow in which you will get a tour and an interview with Arla. Both positive? Great!
