We are looking for a Bachelor or Master student in Biotechnology, Data Science, Process
technology, Chemical Engineering or another related discipline.
- You have knowledge about pharmaceuticals processes
- You are familiar with GMP requirements

You will be working on the optimization of the buffer preparation process at manufacturing
scale. This will include evaluating the current process, investigating improvement topics, discuss with operations/other departments for solutions, perform tests and evaluate data.
There is a wide range of possibilities/opportunities for this internship position which could be defined in collaboration with the department and the student interests. Some examples of potential assignment topics:
- Reduce of the buffer preparation time
- Improve the safety/ergonomics of the process
- Deep into the data science of the current process
- Optimize the current quality testing process
- Improve usage of new implemented preparation tanks
- Deep into the automation of the preparation process
The Operations BioProcessing Services (OBPS) department is owner of the processes and systems of the production departments Equipment Preparation, Buffer Preparation and Medium Preparation. The department is responsible for the right resources and processes to provide the customers with high-quality products in a safe and successful manner.
