As a logistics employee at FedEx you work with packages. Those packages can be heavy sometimes. It is important that you don’t have any problems with some physical work. We also ask the following from you as a logistics employee at FedEx:
- You speak English or Dutch
- You can work the morning shift from 6:00 till 14:30 or the afternoon shift from 14:00 till 23:00. You're free to make your own schedule
- You can show your VGB or you are able to request a VGB and you are prepared to wait for it
- You are willing to do physical work
At FedEx you will be busy with handling packages as a logistics employee. These are packages that go back to Schiphol, from where they will be transported all over the world. As a logistics employee at FedEx you have the following responsibilities:
- Stack packages
- Build up airplane pallets
- Sorting, scanning, weighing, labeling and checking in packages
- Stacking pallets
FedEx is located in Oude Meer, which is close to Schiphol. They are active worldwide in more than 220 countries. In total they have almost 500.000 employees. How cool is it to be part of this company! The warehouse in Oude Meer is reachable by public transport and own transport. There are parking spots next to the building, so you don’t have any parking costs.
At FedEx there are different working times between 06:00 and 23:00. Depending on your availability you can work part-time or full-time. You can choose your own availability in working days and hours. You only have to be available for 8 hours a day. You can fix your own schedule as a logistics employee at FedEx!
