That is why we are looking for someone with experience in administration. It is a position for a longer period. You will work from home.

You like to work together closely with other colleagues. Accurate is your middle name, because you are someone who checks the details. In addition, you have ambition to grow into a position with more responsibility. A background or interest in science, publishing is nice to have, but not necessary. These are the most important requirements :
- You have a WO/University degree
- You speak fluent English
- You have strong communication and organizing skills
- You have experience of providing high-quality customer service
- You have experience with data processing
The organization has an Open Access team that handles all the submitted articles by Authors that want their articles to be published. However, if they want their articles to be published on the Open Access page, they will have to pay a fee. Certain authors can get a discount or are free of charge. All the information you need is archived and can be found in the administration. You will work a lot with documents, templates and with different systems. Also, you will have a lot of contact with authors from all around the world. These are the most common tasks:
- Respont to author requests for discounts on APC's
- With the Commercial and Publishing teams, set up discount codes and assist with memberships, as required
- Maintain documentation about discount codes and the discount process more widely
- Provide monthly reports on discounts granted and denied
This organization is one of the biggest publishers in the world. In this position you are based in Dordrecht and will provide administrative support to the Journal’s Editorial Office. Some of your colleagues are based in London. Your will work remotely together with them. In the office in Dordrecht, you will work closely with an experienced colleague in the same position. Currently, everyone is working from home.
