THE ORGANISATION
The organization where you will work is a technical wholesaler in Roosendaal, where a total of 60 people work. In the sales department you work together with an international team of 10 colleagues, where everyone is responsible for their own market. The organization is very informal and low-threshold. They are open to employee ideas and they think it is important that everyone is happy in their job. The organization is growing strongly and development is certainly encouraged.

THE JOB
The responsibilities of the accountmanager are broad and challenging. You keep yourself busy processing incoming offers and orders. You answer questions and you build relationships with (existing) customers. For this you will be immersed in the market and the current sector developments. You prepare and implement your own acquisition plan. In the function of accountmanager you report to the Commercial Director with regard to targets, requests, customers visits, acquisition etc. As a colleague you contribute to the optimal cooperation within the Sales department, but also with the other departments within the organization. Every month a sales meeting takes place, where you also make an active contribution.

As an accountmanager you come to work in the French or in the German market. This depends on your language skills. For the customers in your market, you are the face of the organization. With your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm you know how to enter existing and potential customers, maintain the relationship and expand it further. You are commercially oriented and you know how to convince potential customers to place their orders with you.

WHEN ARE YOU THE IDEAL ACCOUNTMANAGER?
You master the French or German language at a (near) native level and you also master the English language well. You have bachelor degree work and thinking level and a few years of work experience in a commercial (field service) position. You are able to work independently and you are meticulously involved in your reporting in which you keep your colleagues well informed. You have affinity and experience in technology. You have a sense of responsibility and you feel responsible for knowing your customers and prospects and ensure that they do not fall short.
