For one of our clients we are looking for a fulltime back office employee
Our client in the center Rotterdam is responsible for all foreign exchange transactions and the intercompany funding of all it's European affiliates and some affiliates in the rest of the world. Recently foreign exchange trading and intercompany funding for more affiliates from all over the world are transferred to Rotterdam. The team has close contact with several internal counterparts but also with external relationships.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
Foreign Exchange (FX) and loan settlements
-Execution of FX transactions and loan transactions settlements with external parties and internal parties
-Coordinate with the Front Office Treasury Coordinator(s) in case of non receipt of any settlement.
-Make sure that the Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) in SAP are in line with the SSI instructions received from the external parties and will be updated immediately in case of any changes.
-Execute internal funding to fulfil the overall financing requirements of subsidiaries
-Manage and administer intercompany settlements via the In House Cash accounts.
-Coordinate the month end closing with the controlling department in order to make it able to close the books within the by company established limits.
-MBO degree or comparable education
-Minimum of 1-3 years relevant working experience in a treasury team, preferably gained in a multinational corporate environment.
-Understanding of the financial market(s).
-Understanding of Foreign Exchange and cash management products.
-Working experience with electronic trading platforms and electronic banking systems
-Working knowledge of SAP
-Proficient in Excel
-Fluent in Dutch and English, other languages are a pre
