DEMAND PLANNER | FULLTIME | JAARCONTRACT | INTERNATIONAAL

Due to business success and expansion of the team, we are looking for a naturally curious and ambitious Demand Planner covering Europe. We are looking for a Demand Planning expert wanting to showcase their knowledge on a large European platform.

If you have experience of S&OP, flourish on efficiency and demonstrate continuous improvement, you may be just the person to join the team! You will, of course, evidence business and commercial acumen; thriving on offering innovative planning solutions.

Your responsibilities:

Working together with the EU Operations and Logistics Managers to define and implement S&OP process in cooperation with EU Management team;
Refining processes to include impacting product launches, sales forecasting, spare parts forecasting, demo kit forecasting, requirement planning, safety stock planning and capacity;
Communicating commercial plans and working with the planning and supply chain teams to achieve sales forecast planning;
Working with HQ factory in China and with European vendors, acting as the key contact point for local vendors;
Creating and maintaining forecasts for various product lines;
Building, maintaining, and removing re-order points for different product lines;
Ensuring part number updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders internally;
Placing orders to vendors on daily or bi-weekly basis if necessary;
Maintaining ongoing strong relationships with local vendors to ensure product updates, price changes and EOL statuses are properly maintained in our ERP system;
Confirming new part numbers with local vendors or extending part numbers from our HQ factory;
Generate monthly reports based on key performance indicators.


What are we looking for in you?

Fluent in Dutch and English – both written and spoken;
Experience in a demand planning role with focus on S&OP highly beneficial;
Humility and ambition along with a sense of ownership… and sense of humour!
Alongside a great eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure , you will showcase the right behaviours:
Strong relationship management skills , both internally and externally;
Customer orientated , with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
Obvious natural curiosity to go above and beyond expectations;
Well organised with experience of functioning independently as well as part of a team, requiring limited supervision;
Showcases creative thinking and a willingness to implement new approaches with entrepreneurial flair;
Understanding of cultural differences among various regions/countries in the world and how to work within those cultures;
Ability to work in Europe without requiring sponsorship;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
