As a sprayer, you and your colleagues are responsible for spraying the chassis within a certain time. There is a rotation system within your team, which gives you a short break after a certain time. During your work you wear protective clothing and a compressed air mask. You are expected to continuously think about a more efficient, safe working method and improvement of your own production process. The work is performed in 2 shifts: morning shift (07:00 – 15:30) and evening shift (15:30 – 00:00).
The truck is assembled from start to finish in the DAF Truck Factory. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for connecting, securing or adjusting parts to the truck. During the process, many parts are assembled as a team. You will be taught a number of working stations and you will rotate between them.
