We are looking for a Sales manager for our Business partner. Our partner is a small logistic partner located in the area of Rotterdam. Goals and targets are set by the investment company in China.
- Generate leads on C-level
- Create a network of partners and use your network for lead generating.
- Formulate short and long term sales strategy as to systematically achieve the overall set targets, in line with Trade strategy.
Principal duties and accountabilities
- Determine the sales performance through quarterly KPI measurement on a monthly basis
- Participate in major deal negotiations and joint sales visits with key customers to achieve desired results
- Develop senior relationship with important customers
- Identify new business potential (leads) for sales to develop into profitable growth businesses
- Proactively engage Trade executives to understand Trade strategy and develop corresponding sales strategies and account planning
- Provide market intelligence on pricing to Trades to ensure pricing remains viable and competitive
- Meet other goals and objectives set by the Investing group (Investing group is located in China)
- After multiple success you can create your own sales team
Specifications for ideal candidate
- Bachelor degree (HBO)
- 5 years experience within logistics or suplly chain industry in various commercial roles
- Network within the logistics industry
- Logic approach to problem solving
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) All other languages are a pre
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer focus: dedicated to meet the requirements of internal and external customers
- Conscientious and strong focus on detail
- Ability to deal with time pressure and peaks in work load
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Dedication to personal learning and development
- Strong interpersonal skills
