Within the Logistics Department in the European Supply Chain organization, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist. All tasks regarding handling of material, in-outbound arrangements, claims / RMA resolving, invoicing, arranging special shipments are part of the job. There will be regular contact with customer, forwarder & warehouse representatives. You will work in the Logistics Team where you will be responsible for a section of the Logistics tasks with main focus on the activities in France.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between Customer Service and the Logistic Service Providers (LSP’s) like Forwarders & Warehouses / Local platform representatives.

  • Operationalize the LSA contracts made by the DTW Sourcing Leader and provide feedback him as well as the LSP’s.

  • Information flow about rush shipments, extra costs, delivery requests, and delays is owned and controlled by the Distribution Specialist.

  • Responsible for “on time shipping” and “on time delivery” of material to internal & external customers with the right quality standards.

  • Handle Logistic claims received from our customers. Take corrective actions to prevent similar claims from happening in the future (RCCA’s).

  • Implement & maintain European SCM ISO9000 procedures in BoZ and assist in training people involved in the processes.

  • Drive process and quality improvement projects together with the LSP’s; upgrade and update quality standards in systems, procedures and handling.

  • Participate in Logistics TCO projects in warehousing and transportation

  • Transport invoice validation.

  • Connect with Master planners when about changes (e.g. in material availability are foreseen).

    Requirements:

  • HBO working level or equally, based on working experience (e.g. logistics, material management, customer service).

  • Affinity with software systems.

  • Analytical strength / statistical knowledge of forecast models.

  • Well experienced with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel).

  • Fluent in English language.

  • Open personality and able to communicate to multiple levels in the organization.

  • Flexible attitude.
